Our little sustainable garden is putting out delicious veggies! My little gardeners are actually excited about picking, cleaning & EATING the veggies! We will have multiple varieties of fresh lettuce by Christmas if we continue to cover the garden from the freezing Florida temperatures. (Looks funny to write but sometimes we do have winter in Florida)! Green onions, fresh carrots & sweet peas can be found in our dinner salads. We’ve added garlic to the garden after having some sprout in the pantry & researching that the frost helps the cloves turn into bulbs! The container herbs have been brought inside & Greek oregano, pineapple mint & tarragon can be smelt in the kitchen. Our nature walks have turned into inside nature crafts & we will soon be posting one involving magnolia cones! Happy Gardening!
